About Us
The Hands of Khayr Charity Initiative is a faith-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, especially marginalized Muslim women and orphans across Nigeria.
Our goal is to provide sustainable support that empowers these groups to overcome social, economic and personal barriers, enabling them to reach their full potential

Our Approach
We operate with focus on transparency, integrity, and impact. Through a structured action plan, we ensure that every donation and act of support reaches those in need in the most effective and compassionate way possible.
- Donations from individuals and organizations to help fund our projects
- Monthly financial commitments by members to maintain steady funding for ongoing projects.
- We are open to partnership with organizations and individuals to help achieve our goals
- distributed in strict accordance with Islamic guidelines to support those in need.
- Donors can contribute their Zakat confidently, knowing that it will be distributed in strict accordance with Islamic guidelines to support those in need to make a meaningful impact in the community.
- Referrals will be made by trusted and verified stakeholders (community leaders, religious scholars, and other credible sources.
- Priority would be given to the most urgent cases, i.e, widows, divorcees, displaced families etc
- In cases where two situations are of seemingly equal urgency, decisions would be made through a transparent voting process by the board or members
- Transparent processes for income and expenditure will be followed, with monthly financial reports shared with all members
- A confidential record of all beneficiaries will be maintained to ensure to ensure that our outreach extends to new individuals and families in need
- Spending will adhere to set limits to ensure funds are distributed fairly and sustainably
